The numbers are chilling. 300 soldiers, among the 600 elements of the 3rd Senegalese Contingent of the ECOWAS Mission in The Gambia (Micega), tested positive for Covid-19.
according to the daily Kritik which gives this information, these soldiers arrived in Senegal since September 2. However, they are stranded in Toubacouta to undergo Coronavirus tests which ultimately turned out positive for half of them.
