President Barrow earlier today presided over the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Minister of Youths and Sports, Bakary Badjie, Two justices of the Supreme Court, Justice Awa Bah and Justice Edrissa Fafa Mโ€™bai, President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Omar M.M Njie, Judicial Secretary, Aisatou Jallow-Sey and the Ombudsman, Bakary Sanyang.

The President reiterated his governmentโ€™s commitment to the institutional reforms in line with global standards and best practices.

While stating that his government continues to intensify the on-going search for Gambian citizens who can contribute towards the strengthening of governance structures and the realisation of national goals, President Barrow urged the appointees to commit to improving on their performances and the output of their offices.
